Kingo Bingo is similar to Kinsmen Jackpot Bingo, but with a few twists. Essentially, The Bigger the Jackpot, the Easier it is to Win! The big Jackpot grows by $1 from every card sold, and is won by having a blacked out card in 50 numbers or less. If the Jackpot has not been won in 5 weeks, then on the 6th week it will be 51 numbers or less, on the 7th week it will be 52 numbers or less, and so on until a there is a winner. As an added bonus to Serving our Community, we will be making a donation equal to the Jackpot to a worthwhile charity LIVE on the air whenever the Jackpot is awarded! Kingo Bingo will only air on Shaw TV (Channel 9 in Winnipeg) every Sunday at 5:30pm.
Kingo Bingo cards will be sold in most Winnipeg stores wherever Kinsmen Jackpot Bingo cards are available. We will also be looking into selling cards in other major areas of Manitoba wherever Shaw TV is available. If you have Shaw in an area where cards are not sold and are able to view the Kingo Bingo broadcast, we will also have direct web orders from our website soon. Cards will be $3 for 3 plays.
Buy cards in advance, depending on availability. We anticipate a high volume of sales while cards are not available in-store. The Nashwaaksis Lions Club was formed on March 22, 1966. The chartered members were: Norman Baird, John Bennett, Gary Bolton, Wilson Couglan, Charles DeWolfe, Arleigh Evans, Everett Fulkener, Claire Hawkins, Herby Hawkins, Bill MacDonald, Darrell MacPherson, Barnie Plume, Colter Pugh, Ed Smith, James Toon, and Fred Wilkins. Lion Claire Hawkins is still a member.
The Nashwaaksis Lions Club is recognized worldwide as the founder of the “Huggy Drug Awareness Program” and is home to Huggy Lion who is over 40 years old. The club continues to be a strong supporter of Portage Atlantic Youth Treatment Centre.
Since 1966 the Nashwaaksis Lions Club has helped fund many community programs and individuals. A of which are Ron Evans Bursary, IWK, Children’s Wish Foundation, The Salvation Army, Regional Food Banks, Community Kitchen, Diabetic Summer Camp for children, local sports teams and many local schools.

The Kinsmen Club of Winnipeg, which runs the event, said in a social media post Tuesday that some especially bingo-crazed people were seen chasing the group's courier to get their hands on the scarce bingo cards.
'We have hordes of people driving dangerously FOLLOWING our courier driver like paparazzi and putting him in danger.… We will continue deliveries secretly at a later time,' it said.
The Kinsmen Club donates profits of the bingo game to various charities and organizations in Winnipeg and Manitoba.
The weekly game — which airs every Saturday — is selling a record number of cards due to the massive jackpot.
On average, the club sells between 6,000 and 8,000 cards per week, but now it's up to about 50,000.
Deb Mukherjee, owner of Bergie's convenience store in Beausejour, said his customers are calling after hours to see if he has any tickets.
'We are in bed and then you get a phone call at 3 and 4 and 5 and you wake up quickly. This kind of problem, you know, you get kind of stressed out,' he said.
Those who come in person want more tickets than he can provide.

'People came, 'Oh, I want 10 tickets, why aren't you selling me 10, 20, 30?' I said, 'Well, we do not have. We only got 100 tickets, that's all. We do not have much tickets.' That was a big problem,' Mukherjee said.
