Ok Bingo; Mirror Bingo; New Virtue Fusion Bingo Sites. Virtue fusion (aka Playtech) is a well known establishment in the UK. Unlike Dragonfish and Jumpman they are not big in numbers since they don’t launch new bingo sites every month. In fact, they own limited but best online bingo sites. An introduction to Virtue Fusion Bingo Sites by £5 Bingo Sites Virtue fusion is one of the best known and also best loved software. The software giant has produced a number of its own unique games including the fantastic Deal or No Deal Bingo.
One of the earlier entrants in the supply of online bingo software was a company called Virtue Fusion, they saw the potential for playing bingo online to become the next big thing, and were established in 1999. However recently they were snapped up by Playtech a global leader in online gambling platforms who now utilize their know how and expertise to enhance their own bingo software offerings.
You will find hundreds of bingo sites powered by Playtech, as it is very player friendly and offers players the ability to sit down and play several different bingo game variants via a no download, flash powered platform which loads instantly and boosts plenty of handy features.
The Virtue Fusion bingo software allows players to pre buy tickets for upcoming bingo games and as the software automatically checks each players tickets for them and marks off all numbers called out then players do not even need to be online as the software will do everything for them once they have pre bought tickets!
The table above lists some of the very best sites on the network. There are many more sites than this, but we find too much choice can be a little overwhelming and would rather hand pick some of the top sites to show you rather than list them all. If volume is what you’re after, you can find a bigger list on the dedicated Virtue Fusion fan site vfbingosites.co.uk.
There are three different variants of bingo games which are available in any online bingo site utilizing Virtue Fusion software and below is an over view of each one of them.
90 Ball Bingo Games – This is the most commonly found and played bingo variant in both online and land based bingo venues. The 90 Ball Bingo cards have 15 random numbers printed on each one, which can be any sequence of numbers from number one right through to number fifteen. Each of these bingo cards is presented in a three line format with five numbers being printed on each line.
These bingo games are made up of three rounds, the first of the rounds is played for a single line, once a winner has claimed this prize then you will be playing for a two line prize, and once a winner has claimed that prize then the final part of the game is the full house and this winner of this game is the first player to mark off all fifteen numbers on any one ticket they have purchased.
80 Ball Bingo Games – These games utilize a bingo card which has sixteen number printed upon it, these numbers are a random mix of the numbers from one up to eighty and these are printed on the card in a grid, with their being a total of four columns and fours rows of numbers. The most common 80 Ball Bingo game patterns which you will play for is a simple line up, down or diagonally from corner to corner. These bingo games are very fast paced.
75 Ball Bingo Games – This is much like the 80 Ball Bingo game above except the bingo cards have five columns instead of four and five row of numbers, and as such each ticket has twenty four numbers of each position on the grid, the middle square is a free square and as such no number is attached to this location on that bingo card, players usually are playing for a line prize or the four corner numbers.
Virtue Fusion’s tagline is “the business of bingo” and it is business they do phenomenally well, as can be seen by looking at the list of some of their clients below. Truly some of the biggest names in gaming use Virtue Fusion software to power their bingo suites, and that in itself delivers a major vote of confidence.
Another instant seal of approval comes through the knowledge that Virtue were bought by Playtech Ltd at the start of 2010. Playtech are one of the biggest names in casino and poker software and combining the experience of both these innovative companies has resulted in the provision of market-leading bingo software. Playtech employ around 1,000 people in five countries and lend financial clout and industry experience to the Fusion product.
Virtue Fusion operate across more than 100 different sites, in multiple languages, supporting several different currencies. They are primarily based in London where they are registered as a division of Gaming Technologies Solutions Limited. Regulated by Alderney Gambling Control Commission they are GAMCARE certified and use the very latest technology to provide a seamless bingo experience. The Alderney license enables them to act as both a direct operator and as a network/software provider.
As mentioned, they work with the real giants of the online bingo world but also with bricks-and-mortar institutions. At peak times they link over 15,000 players in their network and their software stands up easily to this challenge, providing a flawless bingo product with strong graphics and sound.
They are at the forefront of mobile bingo offerings too, recently winning the eGaming Review award for Mobile Supplier of the Year and in a fast-expanding area they are keen to establish their dominance from the off.
The company brings its experience to bear in offering some excellent and unique features. Its range of static and progressive jackpots is better than anywhere else simply due to the size of the network and the number of players, whilst games like Joker Jackpot, which utilises a deck of cards won’t be found anywhere else.
In addition to Joker Jackpot they offer several themed games, such as the ever-popular Deal or No Deal game, whilst their range of side games is better than most too. Alongside their main bingo games players can also play instant win, slots and scratch cards, with progressive versions of those further increasing your chance of a big win.
Another feature that increases your chance of scooping a big prize from a small stake and also one that takes advantage of their size is their offering of community slots games. These allow players to compete against each other with the player at the top of the leaderboard winning a substantial jackpot.
All in all they Virtue Fusion games offer everything you could hope for as a bingo player: simplicity of game play, excellent graphics and sound, and lots of chances to win, and win big!
Every now and then, existing bingo sites try to freshen themselves up with a major site makeover, redesign or even switch of software. When these changes occur, they are often new in everything but the name, and so I think are worthy of being including on this page.
So whenever a big relaunch or redesign takes place, I'll let you know all about it right here and you can go check them out.
The most high-profile relaunch I've seen recently has to be the new Mirror Bingo website, which has been around since 2014 but went into a bit of a decline on the Playtech network. However, in 2020 they became part of the Jumpman network which saw the site rebooted with a new design and new bingo software courtesy of Pragmatic Play.
Mecca Bingo have also undergone a big redesign of their site which I first spotted in November 2020. At that time both the old and new versions of the site were available, so I did a video comparing the two (see: Mecca gets a Makeover).
However, in February 2021 I noticed they're still split-testing the new design, which means some players may still get the older version! All the games and stuff remains the same so it's not a drastic difference between the two.
Mecca Bingo's owners, The Rank Group, have also been busy relaunching a few bingo sites following their recent acquisition of Daub Alderney. Both Kitty Bingo and Lucky Pants Bingo have now moved over to the Playtech. As part of the move, some of Mecca's previously exclusive games, such as Britain's Got Talent Bingo, are now available on these two brands.
